Welcome to the auditions of Mt. Hebron High School’s First Mt. Hebron Idol.
The First Place Winner will receive: Professional Studio Recording Time, they will spend time with a
professional songwriter to write their own song and then go into the Studio to record the song to a
CD with music provided by JP & The Shadows band. They will also be able to perform that song in
concert on April 12, 2008 at Mt. Hebron High School, they will also receive a Hebron Idol Button, a
Hebron Idol T-Shirt and their final performance displayed on the Viking Backers Website. (Value:
Priceless). The Second Place Winner will receive: Registration to American Idol Summer Camp at
the Drama Learning Center (The summer camp is running June 30-July 3, 2008 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Students will learn the latest pop music and moves during camp, and there will be a final
performance at the end of the week.), they will also receive a Hebron Sweat suit, Hebron Idol Button
and a Hebron Idol T-Shirt (Value: $400). The Third Place Winner will receive: Registration to
American Idol Summer Camp at the Drama Learning Center (The summer camp is running June 30-

The first 100 students to sign-up will begin auditions Wednesday, Feb. 27th with a recall for
Thursday, Feb. 28th. The students that audition will be reduced to 20 finalists. The 20 finalist will
perform on Friday, February 29, 2008 at 6pm. The 20 finalist will be reduced to 10 and then to 3
final contestants.
The Hebron Idol will be decided by the Audience.
There is a $5 admission fee for the final show with all proceeds going to the school through the Mt.
Hebron Viking Backers. There will be T-Shirts, Buttons and Pre-Sales of a DVD video of the
Auditions and Show.
There is a $1 Audition Fee
